Agios Romanos – Beaches of Tinos

Agios Romanos faces west, making it one of Tinos's premier sunset beaches. As the afternoon heat softens, the beach comes alive with golden light and a relaxed atmosphere. Many visitors time their visit specifically for the evening magic.

This long sandy beach offers organized facilities including sunbeds, umbrellas, and a well-stocked beach bar. The sand is fine and soft, and the water entry is gradual — making it comfortable for all ages and swimming abilities.

The small settlement of Agios Romanos behind the beach retains authentic Cycladic character. White-washed houses, a tiny chapel, and olive groves frame the approach to the beach, creating a picture-perfect Greek island scene.

Positioned on the south coast about 10km from Chora, Agios Romanos serves as a natural base for exploring nearby Agios Sostis and Laouti beaches. The connecting coastal road offers panoramic sea views worth the drive alone.
