Apigania – Beaches of Tinos

Apigania is one of the most remote and unspoiled beaches on Tinos, sitting on the island's eastern shore far from tourist routes. Its isolation is its greatest asset — pure nature, no development, just sea and sky.

The dramatic coastline features a mix of sand and pebbles with deep blue waters. On calm days the swimming is excellent; when winds pick up, the raw power of the sea crashing against the rocks is a spectacle in itself.

The area around Apigania remains pure agricultural Tinos — stone walls, grazing goats, wild herbs, and silence. It's a glimpse of the island as it was decades ago, before tourism changed the more accessible coasts.

Access requires navigating unpaved roads — a four-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended. The journey is part of the experience, winding through wild landscapes with the promise of a beach entirely to yourself.
