Agios Sostis is arguably the most well-known beach on Tinos, stretching along a wide, golden sandy shore. Its organized facilities, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant summer atmosphere make it a magnet for both locals and visitors throughout the season.
Along the shore you'll find well-equipped beach bars serving cocktails and light bites, plus excellent tavernas just steps from the sand. The sunset views from here are legendary — many visitors plan their entire evening around watching the sun dip below the horizon.
The beach faces south, which means it's naturally sheltered from the strong northern meltemi winds that can affect other Tinos beaches. The water stays calm most days, making it perfect for families with children and those who prefer gentle swimming.
Situated on the southern coast just 7km from Chora, Agios Sostis is accessible by both car and public bus. The road is well-maintained, and there's ample parking. It's also close to other popular south-coast beaches for easy beach-hopping.
Agios Sostis beach is protected from the North wind.
